MORRISON, Colo. (KDVR) – Recent owners of Casa Bonita have announced plans to celebrate their 25th anniversary with a concert at Colorado’s beloved Red Rocks, and you should hurry if you want to catch the event.
The Red Rocks Amphitheater will host the “South Park: 25th Anniversary Concert” on August 10 at 7:30 p.m. Along with performances from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Primus and Ween are also slated to take the stage at the celebration to honor a satirical cartoon program that’s been rolling strong for more than two decades.
Snagging a ticket should be a bit of a struggle, so to help ease that struggle, AXS, in tandem with South Park Studios, is opening a registration window. The window will run from March 16 at 6:15 p.m. to March 20 at 11:59 p.m.
Plus fees, tickets should cost upwards of $99, but according to the event page, registering during this time is the most likely path to get you into the celebration.
If you are randomly selected during this process, on March 23, you will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets to the show.
Event organizers also have a warning for those considering abusing this ticket purchasing system, which is designed to exclude ticket resellers from the process. According to the organizers, “anyone who tries to violate the conditions of purchase of AXS will be removed from the register”.
So, in conclusion, if you just need to hear the mellow tones of Mr. Hankee, the evergreen Cartman, and the potentially abrasive presence of a Mecha-Streisand, then be sure to hop on the AXS app before March 20. at midnight to lock in your appointment. with the people of South Park.
