Failure Announces Streaming Concert Film “We Are Hallucinations”

Failure announced a streaming concert movie, titled “We Are Hallucinations,” which will premiere on December 15.

It marks the alternative rock veterans’ first foray into streaming and captures the band’s performances summer 2022 tour in support of their 2021 album wild type droid. The 18 songs selected for the film span Failure’s six studio albums, including choice tracks such as “Stuck on You” – as seen in the trailer below.

“It’s crazy that we’ve never done a concert film before,” guitarist Greg Edwards said in a press release, “but I think this will really go down as a definitive document of the dynamic between the three of us on scene and the connection we have with our fans.

Chess treats fans just in time for the holidays. In addition to the concert film, the band has also reissued its back catalog on vinyl. Failure’s first three albums – the debut produced by Steve Albini in 1992 Comfort1994 Magnifiedand the 1996 opus fantasy planet — have all been printed and sold out over the years (mostly sold out), leaving the band to put the records down on their own. Finally, all six albums can be purchased through the band’s store Hello Merch Page.

Tickets for the concert’s movie stream are available for $19.99 via Veeps. Viewers have three full days (Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. ET through Dec. 18) to watch the film anytime and as often as they like during that time. A commemorative poster for the stream is also available via Hello Merch.
