The word “hero” has taken on new gravities over the past year and a half with the pandemic still present. However, with country star Blake Shelton’s “Friends And Heroes” tour in 2021, he goes above and beyond to reach his fan base, honoring a vindicated community member with every stop in the arena. On Tuesday morning, it was announced that Milwaukee’s Pick Hero was Tandem Owner and Chef Caitlin Cullen, who has helped provide approximately 115,000 meals to families across town in partnership with several other restaurateurs.

Cullen was selected by the Shelton team as well as the Fiserv Forum to receive a pair of front row tickets to his October 2 concert at the arena, as well as a Fiserv award. Before receiving this honor, she announced that she was selling her restaurant to an interested person with the right business plan.

“We are proud to use our platform to recognize incredible people committed to improving our community,” said Arvind Gopalratnam, vice president of corporate social responsibility for the Milwaukee Bucks, via a statement. “Caitlin has demonstrated for years her dedication to serving others and we are delighted that more of our local and national community has the opportunity to celebrate her.”

“I am truly grateful to have been chosen for this exciting honor! Being able to sit in the front row of Blake Shelton with my family is a reward I never expected. I am so happy that Blake chose me , but I’m also so grateful that I can also honor my loved ones, ”said Cullen.

Shelton’s “Friends And Heroes” tour will end in Milwaukee with a date postponed to the Fiserv Forum. The show will also star Lindsay Ell, Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd and John Anderson. You can find out more about the show at Fiserv Forum website.
