The Wanted thrilled fans when they announced their long-awaited return.
After band member Tom Parker was diagnosed with a brain tumor, the band will perform a charity concert to benefit Stand Up To Cancer.
Tom, 33, decided to host the show – which takes place on September 20 – while filming his Channel 4 documentary of the same name.
After discovering that only 1% of the national cancer research budget is spent on finding treatments for brain tumors, he wanted to organize a concert to raise vital funds.
The highlights of the evening at the Royal Albert Hall will be shown as part of the documentary.
The group will also embark on a bullring tour across the UK and Ireland in March 2022.
When will The Wanted tickets go on sale?
Tickets for Inside My Head are on sale now.
Fans can purchase tickets through the Royal Albert Hall for a variety of prices, ranging from gallery status to the high standard hospitality experience.
It is possible to select your preferred seating area on the map or to ask the Royal Albert Hall to offer the best tickets available.
All profits will be shared equally between Stand Up To Cancer and The National Brain Appeal.
How do I get tickets for The Wanted Tour?
In addition to a live show, The Wanted will release a most successful album, Most Wanted – The Greatest Hits, which will be released on November 12.
Fans can get early access to pre-sale tickets by pre-ordering the upcoming album from the band’s online store.
Pre-ordering by 12 p.m. BST on September 14 gives exclusive pre-sale access on September 15, with tickets offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
General sale begins September 17 at 9 a.m. BST, with tickets sold on AEG Presents, AXS and Ticketmaster.
What is Tom Parker’s Inside My Head?
Following his brain tumor diagnosis, Tom wanted to raise funds for cancer treatment.
Take the stage for Inside My Head, their first gig in seven years, the other members Georges Max, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran will come together for a concert hosted by Romain kemp and Sonny Jay.
They will perform alongside a star-studded line-up of British talent, including Liam Payne and Becky Hill.
The Wanted took a hiatus in 2014 after releasing three albums and 13 singles, including number one singles All Time Low and Glad You Came.
They were planning to reunite in 2020 to celebrate their 10th anniversary, but the plan was first delayed by the pandemic and then by Tom’s diagnosis.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about their return, Tom said: “For me personally it’s just fun. The past eight months have been very sad so it’s been nice to smile again.
