The first batch of tickets for Lorde’s upcoming New Zealand tour went on sale from noon, but only to a select few.
For his concerts in Nelson, Lower Hutt, Havelock North, New Plymouth and Auckland, only fans with a presale code from telco Spark could get tickets.
Initial prices on Monday were over $ 90 per ticket.
Tickets for Christchurch’s Electric Avenue festival, which made Lorde its main title, also went on sale Monday at noon. These tickets were in general version, so no special code was required.

Scheduled for February 26, her performance at Hagley Park was set to be the first time the Grammy-winning singer would be back on stage in New Zealand since her performance. Melodrama tour completed.
The 2022 tour, for his forthcoming album, Solar energy, was to collide with summer. In interviews and emails, the singer has opened up about how summer inspired her upcoming album.
She timed the release of her first single, the title track Solar energy, for the northern hemisphere summer and announced the tour during their summer solstice.
Solar energy was Lorde’s first new music release since her second album, Melodrama, was released in 2017.
The next batch of tickets for Lorde’s New Zealand concerts would be released on June 30 at noon for those on Lorde’s mailing list.
General release tickets would go on sale July 5.
