NBA 2021-22 coronavirus protocols for Capital One Arena this season

0

The Washington Wizards’ 2021-22 season begins this Wednesday, with the home game opener Friday when they host the Indiana Pacers. And with that, we bring back the Washington Wizards annual ticket exchange thread. Last year we didn’t post a thread due to tighter coronavirus protocols, and also because most of the home games were played without fans.

How do I put my tickets?

  1. Comment this thread with your available games, your prices and your email address which must be in this format (mine is aleeinthdmv AT gmail DOT com) The purpose of this is to minimize the risk of spammers entering your inbox . I recommend against price hikes for certain games, like those against the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, but you are free to quote whatever prices you see fit. To consult the price of season tickets per game for information, click here. For individual ticket prices, click here.
  2. When your tickets are sold out, please respond to your original comment so that we can remove it. We will ensure that comments are open throughout the season.
  3. Be aware that as a ticket holder, you are generally held responsible for the bad behavior of buyers of your tickets during a private sale.

How to buy tickets on this thread?

  1. Send an email directly to the seller. Once the sale is complete, which is between you and the seller (most sales would likely involve electronic payment through PayPal / Venmo / CashApp / Apple Cash, etc.), you will receive the tickets electronically.
  2. Also be up to date with coronavirus protocols at Capital One Arena, which we’ll get to in a moment. If you don’t want to wear a mask, don’t come to the arena. It won’t go well for you. What if you’re not vaccinated against the coronavirus, want to sit by the court AND don’t care about showing a negative test? Again, don’t come. And you wanna act like an idiot just for your 15 seconds of fame? If that’s you, don’t come and make a fool of yourself.

And as you know, BULLETS FOREVER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTUAL SALE BETWEEN A SELLER AND THE BUYER. IT’S BETWEEN YOU TWO. WE ARE ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOR OF BUYERS DURING A GAME.

Just to let you know that everyone enters at their own risk. This is just a list.

Coronavirus protocols at Capital One Arena for the 2021-22 NBA season

Here are some things you need to know before attending a Wizards game this season. Things are likely to change if the DC council and / or the mayor adopt or publish new bylaws / laws. We will update this if necessary.

  1. MASKS ARE MANDATORY – DC has an indoor mask warrant. If you are an “anti-masker” you will not be welcome in the arena. You can only remove your mask to eat or drink.
  2. DEALERSHIP / RETAIL STANDS ARE CASH-FREE ONLY – Contactless payments are becoming the norm in society before the coronavirus pandemic. If you don’t want to pay with Apple / Google / Samsung Pay, you can still use your credit / debit card.
  3. As of October 17, Capital One Arena does NOT require proof of vaccination to attend as a fan in MOST locations – A growing number of arenas have required at least partial proof of vaccination like the ones in New York City. Toronto demands a full vaccination, period. About half of NBA arenas require proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test for all fans. But for now, the Wizards don’t need any of these for at least most fans, unless they’re sitting in seats next to the pitch that are close to the pitch, which is. defined as 15 feet. It is true that some events at Capital One Arena, like some recent concerts last summer, all required proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test from everyone, but that was because of the direction of the concert promoter, no Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
  4. If you attend a Wizards game in seats 15 feet or closer to the field, you will have several methods to show proof of your vaccination OR your negative COVID-19 test – You can upload your documents to the CLEAR Health Pass app, which is used as a state-run ‘vaccine passport’ in European countries such as the Netherlands and Belgium. If you don’t have access to the CLEAR app, you’ll need a physical copy of your vaccination certificate (paper from CDC, your state health department, or your VAMS certificate will do) . If you are NOT vaccinated against the coronavirus and are attending, YOUR COVID-19 TEST MUST BE LESS THAN TWO DAYS (48 HOURS). THIS IS A STRONGER STANDARD THAN THE 72 HOUR COVID-19 TESTING REQUIREMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL TO MANY COUNTRIES OR TO RETURN TO THE UNITED STATES FROM ABROAD BY AIR.
  5. All the others NBA Fan Code of Conduct rules apply, which makes good sense. Be respectful.

Good luck with the market and stay safe there.
