Birmingham will host Concert for Ukrainea two-hour fundraising event for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Gregory Porter and Snow Patrol are the first acts announced for the lineup at Resorts World Arena on March 29. Tickets go on sale at noon tomorrow (March 22).
The event is organized by ITV, STV and Livewire Pictures in conjunction with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and Media & Entertainment Global to raise funds for DEC Ukraine’s ongoing humanitarian appeal.
The show will be broadcast by ITV, STV, ITV Hub and STV Player, and Marks & Spencer will be the show’s main sponsor. The organizers also confirmed: “All sponsorship and advertising revenue generated from broadcasting the event (prime time on linear and simulcast), which is expected to gross over £3m, will also be donated by ITV at the call of the DEC.”

Emeli Sandé also commented, “I will sing to try to help every innocent human being forced to flee their homes and in solidarity with those who face racial discrimination even in this humanitarian crisis. No one should be denied access to relief, assistance and the right to cross the border safely, and I am happy to have the chance to support the call of the DEC to help all people whose life has been affected by the conflict. »
