With capacity limits lifted, the wave of press releases is precipitated by exhausted communications staff gleefully announcing the return to normalcy in person ahead of the lockdown.

This is news that we at LV never tire of hearing.

The National Ballet of Canada has confirmed it will return to live performances for the 2021/22 season.

The season opens November 11-27, 2021 at the Four Seasons Center for the Performing Arts with Atlas of Angels & Serenade.

In other news …

… The National Ballet also announced the main cast for the opening night.

On opening night, featured roles in Atlas of Angels will be performed by the main dancers Harrison james, Heather Ogden and Siphihle November, First soloists Spencer Hack, Jenna savella and Donald Thom, and second soloists Hannah galway and Genevieve Penn Nabity.

The opening night cast of Serenade will feature the main dancers Guillaume Côté, Jurgita Dronina, Sonia rodriguez and Piotr stanczyk, First soloists Jeannine Haller, Tanya howard and Calley Skalnik, Second Soloist Hannah galway and member of the Corps de Ballet Selene Guerrero-Trujillo.
