The Mountain Empire Children’s Choral Academy choirs will return for live performances in time for the holidays.

“It’s so exciting that we will be bringing the sounds of the season to our audience again this year! Said Jane DeLoach Morison, artistic director.

“Some of our regular venues, including the Biltmore Estate, have had to cancel choirs again this year, but we’re excited to partner with Barter Theater and Abingdon Holiday Market to bring music to Barter Green and Martha. Washington Inn! “

Abingdon, VA, MECCA Singers will perform at Barter Green and Martha Washington Inn on December 4 from 1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

“I like to remind children that while there are things we cannot do during the pandemic, we have also found new and exciting things that we have never done before! We hope everyone will join us for at least one of these events, ”said Morison. “There is nothing like the voices of children and young people sung to cheer you up! “
