Marry me tonight! Jennifer Lopez & Maluma Live Concert Show Announced – Complete with Real Weddings

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Universal Pictures and Peacock today announced a big movie gig for Universal Pictures’ new movie. Marry mewith a global superstar Jennifer Lopez and global Latin artist Maluma performing hit songs from the film’s soundtrack.

Marry me tonight! Jennifer Lopez and Maluma Livean hour-long concert, will debut exclusively on @peacocktv on TikTok at 9 p.m. EST to February 8, will next air on Peacock, airing on E! and broadcast in Spanish on Telemundo and Universo on February 10.

In Marry me, Lopez stars as superstar singer Kat Valdez and Owen Wilson as a math teacher Charlie Gilbert, total strangers who agree to marry and then get to know each other.

Lopez will perform several songs by Marry me, including his title duet with Maluma and the anthem “On My Way”. Maluma will also perform an acoustic version of his song “Segundo”, with guitarist Edgar Barrera.

Plus, four real-world couples will be wed during the concert, inspired by the film’s sweeping romance about the power of love to overcome any obstacle. The couples, one of whom is the winner of iHeartRadio’s MYfm Marry me competition, will get married during the concert, in the presence of the two performers.

The special concert is led by 14-time Emmy award winner Glenn Weiss and is produced by the Emmy-winning team of Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, founders of White Cherry Entertainment. The show will be recorded live on the Dolby Family Terrace of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

According to the press release, “Marry me is a film brimming with emotion, glamor and, of course, incredible music,” said Dwight Caines, president of national marketing for Universal Pictures. “We couldn’t think of a more perfect way to launch this film, than to allow audiences to experience the joy of seeing these powerful superstars perform together on stage.”

Marry me arrives in theaters and streaming only on Peacock this Valentine’s Day.
