By Aaron Humes: DJ Osocity (Alex Haniff) dedicated his recent performance at Miss San Pedro’s after-party in Ambergris Caye to his late mother on Facebook, saying, “I hope you’re proud… All that I am and I hope to be, I owe it to God and My mother.”
The popular mixer admits he cried on stage as he told the audience about his mother’s wish to see his dream of becoming “one of the biggest and best DJs in the world and [selling] concerts all over the world.
He claims to have felt his presence as he played his last song and it was enough to leave him in tears as he thanked the fans for supporting him and believing in him.
“It was a magical sight and I’m so lucky to have shared the jewel of the world,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
The popular DJ first visited Belize in February this year and became one of Jewel’s biggest fans internationally. He recently suggested he was “looking for a Belizean woman” after his performance in San Pedro.
