Art

• Harlan Gallery at Seton Hill University is accepting nominations for Women Artists 2021, a juryed exhibition that will feature women artists in all media. The event will take place from November 2 to 26 and an opening reception will be held at 7 p.m. November 4. Artists can submit up to three works by September 3. • Christian Mothers of St. Raymond of the Mountains will be holding a trash and treasure flea market from 9 am to 2 pm August 13-15 in the Church Social Hall, 170 Schoolhouse Lane, Donegal. • St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Johnstown, will be selling take-out picnics from 11 am to 1 pm on August 14 at the church, 335 Locust Street. Meeting

The music

• The Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce will host free concerts at 7 pm from Sunday to August 22 in the Diamant belvedere. The featured group on August 15th will be the Delmont Concert Band. Special event

The Harrold No. 8 School tours will take place at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. and there will be a paired carpet demonstration and an opportunity to research your family tree.
