Mt. Zion, IL – Saturday, October 15e a Christian concert is the first to occur at the Lincoln Square Theater. Nationally known, We Are Messengers Wholehearted Fall Tour Concert stops to perform in downtown Decatur.
The United Methodist Church of Mt. Zion in Mt. Zion, with a membership of approximately 70 members, wanted to present this concert to the public. We want our communities to feel closer so that we can begin to heal from what has happened in and around our regions.
We Are Messengers frontman Darren Mulligan says this personal concert will change and influence people’s lives. The show will be important because the music is special to listen to, to dance, to sing and to praise God with his people. We need it more than ever, says Mulligan. We are honored to come to Decatur and look forward to playing our new songs, our third full album, Wholehearted, which will include the song “Come What May”. This song topped Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart and maintained the #1 position on the Mediabase CCM Audience chart for 14 weeks.
Tickets are very affordable for these well-known artists. $28 for general seating and $48 for VIP seating which includes 5:00 p.m. arrival, a free laminated photo, Q&A with the singers, and a chance to purchase souvenirs before the concert begins.
