The concert event of the holiday season is almost here.
CBS released several first looks from One last time: an evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga (premiere on Sunday November 28 at 8 / 7c), a new concert special that marks Bennett’s last concert appearance before announcing his retirement from touring.
Filmed during two sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall to mark Bennett’s birthday on August 3, One last time “brings together the two incredible artists, honoring their mutual love for the Great American Songbook,” according to the official statement.
In total, the special consists of 11 show arias, including several songs from Bennett and Gaga’s two albums together: 2014 Cheek to cheek (which won a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2015) and 2021 Love for sale (which recently won six Grammy names).
Bennett, now 95, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2017. His family first released his diagnosis in February, and a telling revelation 60 minutes segment followed in October (which you can view here).
