Tickets for the Bob Dylan concert in Columbia, SC go on sale Friday

Music legend Bob Dylan includes a stopover in Colombia on his current world tour.

The icon whose career spans 60 years will be play at the town auditorium, according to the venue’s website.

Dylan will bring his “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour to Columbia for a concert on March 29.

Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, according to township auditorium officials. Ticket prices range from $59.50 to $89.50 and a maximum of $129.50, the venue’s website says.

Dylan’s tour will include a stop in North Charleston on December 27. His show in Colombia will be followed by three performances in North Carolina – Charlotte on March 30, Greensboro on April 1 and Asheville on April 2.

Dylan is perhaps best known for his 1960s and 70s anthems, including “Blowin’ in the Wind”, “The Times They Are a-Changin'”, “Like a Rolling Stone”, “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” and “Tangled Up in Blue”, among others.

In 2020, Dylan released his latest album, “Rough and Rowdy Ways”.

Dylan is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He has sold over 125 million records, won 10 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature.
