STAMFORD – For a second week in a row, Stamford’s Downtown Special Services District will be offering free entry to their final Wednesday Nite Live concert featuring famous’ 70s rock band Jefferson Starship.

As was the case with the Village People’s free Wednesday Nite Live performance, “all previously purchased Jefferson Starship general admission tickets will be upgraded to Preferred Seating tickets,” according to a press release from Stamford Downtown. Preferred seating includes entry to the venue through the VIP gate and “preferred seating” near the stage.

The night after Jefferson Starship’s performance, DSSD is expected to host Stamford’s last outdoor concert of the year. Ludacris, who helped kick off the mainstream hit for the rappers of Dirty South, will helm Alive @ Five on September 30.

Tickets for Alive @ Five are $ 25 until the day of the show, when prices go up to $ 35 per person. The concert is closed to people under the age of 21.

All ticket holders to both Wednesday Nite Live and Alive @ Five must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test taken within 72 hours of the concert, including minors under the age of 12 accompanying a adult with a ticket to the Wednesday concerts.
