Steps only has a few more dates left for their What The Future Holds tour, which kicked off earlier this month. Earlier in the tour, Strictly Come Dancing star Faye Tozer tested positive for COVID-19, forcing her to self-isolate for ten days. Over the weekend it was announced that Lee Latchford-Evans had also tested positive.

The official Steps Twitter account announced that Lee had tested positive for the virus.

That means, the statement said, that Lee will have to self-isolate for the standard ten days, per government guidelines.

The isolation period for Lee means he will miss the final three dates of the tour – of which tonight is the first.

The group continued to test negative which means they will continue to perform as planned tonight at the O2 Arena in London.

After the concert on November 27 at the O2 Arena in London, the group still have two dates before the end of their tour.

On November 29, the group will perform at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.

The quintet will then complete their comeback concert series on December 1, 2021.

This last show will take place at the Bournemouth International Center.

Faye’s return follows the star who confessed she was “confused and drained” by her positive test on November 19.

She wrote to her fans: “Thanks for our daily testing for being able to recognize this and so the show can still go on.

“Please give the guys the utmost love as they keep breaking shows and hope to be back soon x”

The legendary ’90s band first reunited in 2017 after a hiatus that began in 2012.

Their comeback came with an album, Tears On The Dancefloor, which reached number two on the UK charts.

Their follow-up album, What The Future Holds, was released in November 2020. Following its release, they announced the two-month UK tour they are currently on.
