SEVENTEEN member Joshua wows Oakland pub-goers with his Sunday Morning take on Maroon 5

Imagine SEVENTEEN’s Joshua Hong performing Sunday morning at your local pub! Sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? Well, that wasn’t the case for some Oakland pub goers who recently got to hear the SEVENTEEN member’s rendition of the popular Maroon 5.
On August 16, SEVENTEEN member Mingyu shared a post with the caption, “Oakland💚 I filmed a Sunday morning video clip of Joshua in Oakland. In the middle of the photo filing were a series of clips of SEVENTEEN’s Joshua performing Sunday morning in a local pub.

Going back a bit, Seventeen is currently on a world tour. Following the announcement of their world tour in May, the boy band launched their be the sun tour in June this year. As the tour progresses, the band is expected to tour across North America and Japan.

Holding a guitar, the SEVENTEEN member greeted everyone, saying, “So I’m a guy named Joshua from LA!” After having magnificently interpreted the Maroon 5 Sunday morning, he received a round of applause and a loud cheer from his band members as well as pub patrons. If you didn’t know, Joshua’s favorite song has always been Sunday morning. Of go seventeen from episodes to fansigns and interviews, the SEVENTEEN member can be heard singing the Maroon 5 song at all times. In fact, SEVENTEEN often jokes that Joshua sang the song more than Maroon 5. He even sang it at the boy band’s concert in Oakland since it was a Sunday!

Meanwhile, the K-pop boy group made a comeback on July 18 this year with a repackaging of their fourth feature film titled Sector 17 with World as the highlight of the album. The album sold over 1 million copies within 3 days of its release, making Seventeen a 7 million times seller.
