The 17-member group, wearing matching black and copper flower-print suits with shiny “MS” belt buckles, then performed bangers such as “Mejor Me Alejo”, “Hablame Ti”, “Positivo”, ” Tu Postura âand a banda version of Marco Antonio Solis’s hitâ Se Va Muriendo Mi Alma â.
In the crowd, the majority of fans wore cowboy hats and matching boots, others waved large Mexican flags, and others sat in their seats with masks on.
âWe want to thank all Mexicans who support our music,â singer Alan Ramirez said. “But also all of our Central American fans.”
The Mexican band, founded in 2003 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, then sang hits like âPor Mi No Te Detengasâ, âEl Color de Tus Ojosâ, âMi Hermosa Experienciaâ, âA Lo Mejorâ and âPor Siempre Mi Amor â, among others.
One of the highlights of the evening was when they performed the uptempo “El Mechon” and were joined on stage by an energetic little boy who danced the entire song with the band. Another highlight followed when they performed a romantic ballad melody of “Que Fuimos”, “Quien Pierde Mas”, “El Color de Tus Ojos” and “No Elegi Conocerte”.
Soon after, the group lifted the crowd for a wave of dancing classics such as “El Sinaloense”, “Piensalo”, “Rinconcito en el Cielo”, “Eslabon por Eslabon”, “Tragos Amargos” and “Somos lo que Somos.
Banda MS also performed their âQue Maldicionâ assisted by Snoop Dogg, which earned both acts their first top 10 debut on the Hot Latin Songs chart in 2020. Starting at No. 4, the collaboration grew into the highest debut. for a regional Mexican song since Joan Sebastian’s âMe Gustaâ arrived at No. 3 in August 2015.
At the end of the concert, the whole group changed their outfits to wear matching baseball jerseys from their hometown team, Venados de Mazatlán.
They then performed hits like “Ayer La Vi Por La Calle”, “Mi Razon de Ser”, “No Me Pidas Perdon”, “Me Gusta Tu Vieja”, their cover of “El Rey” by Vicente Fernandez and “La Casita “one last time.
