The group is reforming.

Indie icons Pavement, who last toured together in 2010, just announced they are reuniting for a world tour in 2022.

Formed in 1989, the band led by singer Stephen Malkmus rose to prominence with the niche hit “Cut Your Hair” in 1994 before going their separate ways five years later. They joined forces for a two-month tour in 2010.

12 years later, they are back on the road.

Here’s everything you need to know about the band’s upcoming “Slanted and Enchanted” tour.

Where can I buy tickets to see Pavement?

Tickets to see the newly reformed band will be officially available on Friday, November 5 at 10 a.m. EST on Ticketmaster, but if you need your tickets now, you can find tickets for all of Pavement’s North American shows on Vivid Seats, StubHub, TicketNetwork and SeatGeek.

It is common for speculative notes to appear first in the secondary market, but be aware that prices can be more expensive than when they go on sale to the general public.

Where will Pavement play on the tour?

The quintet which has been dubbed by critics “the best band of the 90s” will bring back its classic tracks for 27 shows around the world. Their comeback will begin on September 7 in California and stop in Ireland on November 11.

There will be three shows at the King’s Theater in Brooklyn from September 30 to October 2. The cheapest tickets we could find were for the October 1 show for $ 81 before fees.

Pavement will also be showing at the Met Philadelphia in Philadelphia on October 5.

All prices were found at the time of posting and are subject to fluctuation.

The official schedule, with dates and times to watch Pavement live, is here.

When NME asked Malkmus about touring in 2020, he said: “I just think we should try to be like the 1990s – that’s the goal, and to the best of my ability, to tap into the mood. of what the group was. It’s pretty much pure nostalgia on my mind, but I want to try to get it right.
