the second Buckeye Nation concert featuring alternative pop musician Tai Verdes has been postponed.

Verdes, known for widely popularized songs on TikTok such as “AOK” and “Stuck in the Middle,” will now take the stage April 11 at 7 p.m. at Newport Music Hall, according to an Instagram post on Monday from Ohio Trade Union Activities Council. The concert was originally scheduled for March 26 and all tickets claimed before the original concert date will still be accepted.

Cam Shahrooz, a third-year mechanical engineering student and concert director for OUAB, said in a text that the concert was postponed to March 24, two days before the originally scheduled date. Shahrooz would not comment further on why the concert was postponed.

Verdes will be preceded by student opening acts, which Shahrooz says were determined by the Buck’s Got Talent Show February 28. Students in attendance voted for their favorite musicians from the six musical groups from Ohio State vying for the opening slot of the spring concert.

A group called Dreamlandwho won second place in the talent competition, will open the concert, while the first place winner Jack Harris will take the stage just before Verdes.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free, but a valid ticket and BuckID will be required for entry. Tickets are available on OUAB websiteand spectators will be admitted to the venue on a first-come, first-served basis.
