Delta will be hosting a Christian Music Festival on July 20, 22 and 23, sponsored by the Delta County Nonprofit Arts Coalition. Concerts start at 6 p.m. each evening. Admission is $ 10 per person or $ 25 for all three concerts. Families can enter for $ 25 a night or $ 50 for all three concerts. All students aged 7 to 17 pay $ 5 per concert. The first concert features praise bands, the second concert is an open mic night, and the final concert will feature two of the groups from the first two concerts as well as a special Christian rap artist.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST TICKETS
Tickets are on sale for Club Kiwanis’ 53rd Annual Pancake Day at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction on Saturday, August 21 from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost of the all-you-can-eat breakfast including pancakes, eggs, ham, coffee and juice is $ 6 per person with children under 12 free. There will also be shows, games for children and a silent auction. Tickets are available from Heiden Homes Realty, 735 Rood Avenue or by calling 970-260-6822. Profits go to local groups to help the children.
ACADEMY OF ENTREPRENEURS RECEPTION OF APPLICATIONS
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) Is looking for students to participate in the Class of 2022. Students in grades 6 through 12 are eligible to go through the process of starting and running real businesses for a full academic year. By the end of the class, students own and operate fully functioning businesses that can be operated after graduation.
