Kid Rock got really chickened out in his new song, “We the people‘, which may or may not be part of his upcoming new album, ‘Bad Reputation’, due out later this year.

The song is one of three Rock just released after announcing a major concert tour for 2022 which sees him perform at the Van Andel Arena on Saturday April 16 and the Pine Knob Music Theater on Friday September 16 and the night next. Rock also hinted that this could be his last big tour.

In his new song, “We The People,” the ever outspoken Metro Detroit rocker lambastes President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Facebook, Twitter, TMZ and the media as he addresses burning issues like COVID- 19, inflation, and Black Lives Matter.

“Wear your mask, take your pills, now a whole generation is mentally ill,” Rock sings near the start of the song which continues, “(Hey-yeah) man, F— Fauci (Hey-yeah). But COVID is near, it’s coming to town. We gotta act fast, close our borders. Joe Biden is doing it, the media is embracing it. Big Don is doing it and they’re calling him a racist.

The chorus of the song sings several times: “We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)”. The phrase “Let’s go Brandon” is code for a blasphemous slur directed at Biden.

The song continues with Rock attacking social media and the media before addressing some current events.

“Inflation is up, so is the minimum wage, so it’s the same, it didn’t change anything. (Hey-yeah Hey-yeah). You s—, I don’t see the color.” Black lives matter”, no s—- MF. (Hey-yeah Hey-yeah).

Rock then calls for unity in song.

“But we have to keep fighting for the right to be free and not every human being has to agree. We are all bleeding brother, listen to me, it’s time for love and unity.

He then blasts CNN, TMZ and social media trolls before asking people to come together.

“If you’re in love and want to make things better, all we have to do is just come together. Weather the storm and take my hand, then follow my example to the promised land. Because we , the people, we must unite to follow this good time that guides the light. Climb aboard this boat of love and swing this b—- along the coast. In order to form a more perfect union, order and establish this constitution for the United States of America.

The song sings “Let’s Go Brandon” towards the end before Rock says this: “Stand up and stand up, because it’s all for one and it’s one for all.” Everything, everything, everything. We the people (ooh) We the people.

The song then ends with more “Let’s Go Brandon” chants.
