Jennifer Lopez got emotional while appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!
The 52-year-old artist taped the appearance in New York on Thursday, February 3, but the interview didn’t air until Friday night.
Jennifer talked about his new movie Marry mein which her character decides to marry a spectator holding a sign during her concert. jimmy asked if there were any memorable signs fans picked up on during his shows.

“I went on tour quite late in my career. I didn’t go until I was 40 and had kids and stuff like that,” Jennifer noted. “I hadn’t toured…I had never done a real world tour.”
“I remember this woman holding up this sign ‘I’ve been waiting for 14 years. She said “I’ve been waiting 14 years to tell you that you helped me be the woman I am today” Jennifer added by ripping. “You don’t realize that your music touches people. You think you’re just doing this thing and you don’t realize it until you go around the world and people come to you. I was doing meet and greets and they were showing me tattoos of my name on their backs and I was like, ‘What’s going on here?’ “
