Country music star Garth Brooks announced on Wednesday that he will be making a stop at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., on May 21 – his first time playing at the stadium.

The concert will be the only stop on Brooks’ New England stadium tour.

In today’s Daily Debrief, gather all your friends in low places as Garth Brooks performs at Gillette Stadium for the very first time. Millions of free masks in the federal stockpile will be distributed to Americans. Additionally, flights to Boston have been canceled due to the 5G rollout, and some Christmas items are just arriving due to supply chain issues.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 28 at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks. They can also be purchased by calling 1-877-654-2784 or through the Ticketmaster app.

Brooks, the best-selling solo artist in US history with 157 million records sold, will return to the Boston market for the first time in seven years. His tour has already set attendance records in 77 cities.

Seats will be formatted in a round and will cost $94.95 each, including taxes and fees. All seats are reserved and there is a limit of eight tickets per purchaser.
