8-15 Dec. All Is Bright: A Jazz Kings Christmas 2021 stars Shirley Andress, Marisa Frantz and Vicki Brabham with the Emerald City Jazz Kings doing everything from songs like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” to traditional Christmas carols. December 9 – Eugene Symphony’s Winter dreams brings in guest conductor Erina Yashima of the Philadelphia Orchestra to conduct a program that includes George Walker’s lament for his grandmother; Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4, with soloist Paul Huang in his debut with Eugene, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1, “Winter Dreams”. 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 9 at the Silva Concert Hall at the Hult Center. December 22-23 – Oregon Mozart Players Annual Candlelight Concert Bach house for the holidays features guest conductor Daniel Cho with violin soloists Jenny Estrin and Julia Frantz in a holiday program that includes Christmas carols and classic classics. 7:30 p.m. December 22-23 at the Central Presbyterian Church, 555 E. 15th Avenue. To dance

November 27-28 – All that! The Nutcracker of the Dance Company offers a modern take on the familiar spectacle with over 300 young dancers performing jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet and classical ballet. Tickets, $ 23 to $ 33, and a full schedule are available on HultCenter.org.

December 17-23 – Eugene Ballet’s Nutcracker. A holiday ballet tradition for decades, Tchaikovsky’s tale of Clara, the Sugar Plum fairy, the Mouse King and his pirates Henchmice and, of course, the Nutcracker is an audience favorite. Orchestra Next offers live music. Performances take place at the Hult Center’s Silva Concert Hall and include evening and morning performances. Nov 19 to Dec 12 – University theater A Christmas Carol. John Schmor adapts and directs this holiday classic, which resonates in our time of capitalist greed and income inequality. Performances take place at the Robinson Theater at the University of Oregon. Tickets cost $ 10 for adults, $ 8 for seniors, and are free for UO students at Tickets.UOregon.edu/Christmas-Carol.

November 27 – O Christmas Tea: a British comedy. Off-Broadway comedians and 3-time Impresario Prize winners (London) James & Jamesy present their Christmas comedy classic Christmas tea. The show will take place on November 27 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Soreng Theater at the Hult Center; tickets are $ 10 to $ 44 on HultCenter.org.

December 17-19 – The Radio Redux Holiday special. The Fred Crafts show ensemble breathes new life into classic radio plays on stage; this show features seasonal songs and stories. Performances will be at 7 p.m. on December 17 and 1:30 p.m. on December 18 and 19 at the Soreng Theater at the Hult Center. Until November 27 – Emerald Print Exchange at the Karin Clarke Gallery, 760, rue Willamette. Some 175 local, national and international artists submitted 5 × 7 inch fine art prints in a variety of media, including etching / aquatint, lithography, woodblock print, linocut, black print and screen print. View the works at the gallery, then purchase online at WhitPrint.com. Prices started at $ 95 when the show opened on November 3, and have gone down $ 3 every day since then.

15 Nov-Dec 25 – New zone gallery Holiday Bazaar. Everything for sale is made by New Zone coop artists, from small paintings to handcrafted ceramics and greeting cards. The new area is located at 110 E. 11th Avenue and is open from noon to 6 p.m. daily.

20 Nov-Dec 4 – Holiday market inside the Lane Events Center. The annual market, hosted by Saturday Market, will run November 20-21 and 26-28 and December 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 and, for procrastinators, December 23-24. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closing at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

22 Nov-Dec 17 – Annual Art for All Seasons Membership Exhibition & Club Mud Ceramics Holiday Sale at the Maude Kerns Art Center, 1901 E. 15th Avenue. Outside the city

November 27-Jan. 2 – Oregon Shakespeare Festival It’s Christmas, Carole! Directed by OSF actors Mark Bedard, Brent Hinkley and John Tufts and performed at the Angus Bowmer Theater at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, the musical parody tells the story of Carol Scroogenhouse, who is kidnapped and taken through time and space. to reckon with how she abandoned humanity for a hollow capitalism. New Years

December 31 and January 2 – Arrivals: Rio with Fantastic Ballet.
