WALDOBORO — The Waldo Theater hosts GoldenOak live on stage on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.

“The music of Golden Oak is rooted in the natural landscape; their songs move like a stream, meandering and weaving in a quirky yet grounded direction,” a Waldo Theater press release said. “Fronted by siblings Zak and Lena Kendall, GoldenOak’s music quietly excites its listeners while nestled in a rich folk-influenced brotherly harmony.”

The Maine-based group has built a stable and growing fan base with this kind of energetic intimacy, according to the release.

“It’s perfectly represented in the band’s latest album room to grow, a 10-song reflection on the emotional and physical impacts of the climate crisis,” the Theater said.

The group is completed by bassist Mike Knowles and drummer Jackson Cromwell.

Online tickets are available for $15 in advance, $20 the day of the event. Tickets are available at the box office for $20 starting at 6:30 p.m. Visit https://waldotheatre.org.

Free parking is available on Main Street and School Street. Assistive listening devices are available at the ticket office.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Concessions (including beer and wine) will be available for purchase.
