Local entertainment staple, Loco Vocals, will present its latest musical performance on New Years Eve at the Beaver Dam Area Community Theater Fine Arts Center, 117 W. Maple Ave.

Loco Vocals performs Tuesday night at the Seippel Center for Music and the Arts, 1605 N. Spring St., Beaver Dam.






The group will perform songs from their 12 years together. Attendees will hear songs ranging from the 50s to the 70s by artists such as Elvis, The Beatles, The Jacksons, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The Eagles, Elton John and many more.

Loco Vocals singers include Jenny Addison, Rick Ramirez, Jay Wilkins and Cheryl Zeman. They are supported by a live band including Dave Carlson, guitar; Tanya Diggins, piano; Jeff Mroz, bass; David Saniter, drums; and Rich Zeman, saxophone.

Rick Ramirez recalled the start.

“Jay and I had played together and wanted to keep doing it,” he said. “Cheryl and Rich had always wanted to join us, and we started asking others if they were interested. We never thought we would be together for so long, but so much the better. We certainly made the most of it.

Now several members of the group have walked away and other engagements have taken place. The band members reluctantly decided to disband, although several will continue to be part of the local entertainment scene.
