Do you like listening to the soundtracks of the Harry potter movies? Do the opening bars of “Hedwig’s Theme” make your heart beat faster? Then the news that a Brother Weasley will join The Magical Music of Harry Potter – Live in Concert tour will be music to your ears.

The Magical Music of Harry Potter – Live in Concert is a full orchestral concert experience, where the Wizarding World comes to life as fans listen to highlights from the music of the Eight Harry Potter movies and stage show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The concert will feature the music of five-time Oscar winner John Williams, who composed the music for the first three Potter films, including “Hedwig’s Theme” and “Mr. The Flies of Longbottom.” Musical highlights from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, composed by the double Oscar winner Alexandre Desplat. Of course, the haunting sounds of “Lily’s Theme” will always be a favorite. Desplat will conduct some of the concerts himself.

Patrick Doyle, who composed fan favorites such as “The Quidditch World Cup” and “Potter Waltz” for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, will play his music. And Nicholas Hooper, whose scores include “Fireworks”, “Professor Umbridge” and “Dumbledore’s Farewell” for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will also appear.

Innovative music from the award-winning West End and Broadway show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, composed by Imogen Heap, will also be part of the program. The music will be performed by the London Philharmonic and Symphonic Film Orchestra.

Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) will also join the tour. Responding to a fan on Twitter who asked him how many tour dates he would be on, Rankin revealed that he would be involved in more than 80 of the shows; information on the dates of the tour he will be part of will soon be on his website.

The concert became even more of a magical experience as world famous illusionist Rob Lake will also be performing. With light, sound, laser displays and magic, this event seems to be a feast for the senses. The Magical Music of Harry Potter – Live in Concert certainly sounds like a long tour. Rankin said in his Twitter announcement that the tour will be “on sites all over Europe over the next month. The concert will begin touring Europe in October, with stops in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Finland, and will arrive in the UK in December. The tour then returns to Europe and revisits the UK again from April 2022.
