Billie Eilish to Perform Sally in “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Live-to-Film Concert

Billie Eilish has joined the cast for a pair of upcoming performances from The nightmare before Christmass, in which she will play the character of Sally.

The shows, which will take place at Banc Of California Stadium in Los Angeles on October 29 and 31, have been billed as live-to-film concert experiences, meaning the Disney film will be played on screen. with live musical accompaniment from an orchestra.

Eilish will perform “Sally’s Song” from Tim Burton’s 1993 musical, with the film’s original composer and actor Danny Elfman set to reprise his role as Jack Skellington. “Weird Al” Yankovic will play Lock, and Ken Page, another original actor, will sing the role of Oogie Boogie.

In a statement, Elfman said, “I’m absolutely thrilled that Billie is joining the Nightmare Team! It will be a real treat (not a trick)! ”

This is the first time since 2018 that The nightmare before Christmas live concerts will take place, having previously taken place at the Hollywood Bowl.

The October 29 performance begins at 8:00 p.m. PDT, with the October 31 performance at 6:30 p.m. PDT. Tickets for both can be found here.

Eilish recently released her second album “Happier Than Ever”, which received five stars in a NME review.
